2022 was a big year for companies across the Philippines. Samsung Philippines wanted to hold its first live event post-pandemic — a way to reconnect with suppliers, both old and new, and to let them experience the brand’s latest offerings firsthand.
More than a brand showcase, the event was an expression of goodwill and camaraderie.
The main communication theme was “Make Time for New Connections,” reflecting Samsung’s goal of strengthening ties — both for the brand and among its people. In addition to unveiling its latest line of air conditioning products, Samsung sought to recognize its most loyal and active suppliers, celebrating their contributions to making Samsung the brand it is today.
The event served as a brand showcase, loyalty awards ceremony, and networking night in one.
A Journey into the Future
The futuristic theme manifested from the onset, beginning with a Digital Flipbook invitation. Invitees could confirm attendance and receive detailed venue instructions online.
Upon arrival, they could take photos at a special vignette area, lined with LED strips mimicking the design of Samsung’s air conditioners.
The program centered on the attendees — dealers, clients, and managers from the Southeast Asia Region. Great emphasis was placed on their comfort and recognition, ensuring they left the event feeling genuinely appreciated, both through the awards they received and the thoughtful program design.
Meanwhile, contemporary dancers enhanced the product unveiling with choreography that felt clean, fluid, and almost liquid-like — a strong visual echo of the event’s glowing lines motif, and an artistic translation of the cooling experience Samsung’s products offer.
Following the program’s formalities, the night ended on a high note with a special performance by Rico Blanco, inviting everyone to celebrate, reminisce with familiar tunes, and embrace new connections — all while looking forward to a brighter future with Samsung.
A Cool Success
Out of the 300 expected guests, 243 attended — an impressive turnout.
Several media outlets also picked up the story, providing detailed coverage of the program and highlighting Samsung’s renewed commitment to delivering premium comfort to the Filipino market.
The media praised Samsung’s efforts to provide smart, reliable solutions to partners and customers alike.
More than the mileage, the B2B convention stood as a triumph of partnership between Stratminds Events and Samsung Philippines.
Despite several changes to the event concept and execution along the way, Stratminds was able to adjust, adapt, and deliver beyond expectations.
The success resonated not just with the attendees, but also with the client — a testament to collaboration done right.
